AbbVie's Supply Chain IT organization is helping to transform the business by connecting information from packaging lines to patients. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of that change. This position will be responsible for the ownership and execution of key IT projects and initiatives supporting the Supply Planning function, as a member of the Supply Chain Business Technology Solutions team.

This position is expected to work with minimal oversight. The role will support a Supply Planning Platform responsible for the replenishment of products throughout the global AbbVie Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities Includes:
  • Support the deployment of global systems projects that enable the delivery of AbbVie products from our manufacturing sites to our patients
  • Engage with business stake holders to develop User and Functional Requirements documentation for business solutions
  • Develop Test Plans, Test Cases, and perform Integrated Testing for systems deployments
  • Implement innovative and leading edge capabilities, in support of a Digital Supply Chain journey
  • Work with cross-functional teams , and other IT and business stake holders, to ensure the successful planning and execution of systems projects
  • Identify and implement ongoing opportunities for system and process improvements
  • Follow ITIL based processes to ensure cost effective, continuous operation of the Supply Chain Planning systems

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience including business analysis, and project delivery
  • Ability to travel globally

Required Skills

  • Ability to facilitate requirements gathering workshops, to elicit user requirements
  • User requirement and functional requirement documentation
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Ability to independently lead small to medium sized projects
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Track record of driving project deliverables to successful conclusion
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases and structures
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including the use of query tools like TOAD and SQL

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of the end-to-end Demand and Supply Planning processes
  • Experience working with a global user base
  • Working knowledge of JDA Fulfillment and/or Enterprise Supply Planning modules
  • Experience working with large ERP systems like SAP, JDE, or equivalent
  • SAP ECC 6.0 experience highly preferred
  • Experience with Big Data Platforms like Hadoop
  • Experience with Analytics and Visualization Platforms like Qlik, Tableau, Spotfire, or equivalent
  • APICS certification
