You??ll lead the definition and monitoring of targeted initiatives that may include optimization of processes, or introduction of new tools for the associates and management. The purpose and goal of this role is to reduce SG&A or improving gross profit margin while improving or sustaining our customer experience. The role will have a goal of improvements to EBITDA to deliver annually through a variety of projects and will work with leadership at all levels and business units as well as consultants to provide oversight on the progress towards that goal. The role may have over time direct reports and manage specific projects. Who You Are: You have excellent verbal, written and analytical communication skills and are comfortable working collaboratively across multiple functions. You demonstrate a results based and adaptive leadership style with strong impact and influencing skills You are strategic and analytical You appreciate change, you??re highly flexible and adaptable You Also Have: Bachelor??s Degree or Post-secondary education Minimum of 8 years experience in project management or comparable function Experience in retail or supply chain would be preferred PMI Certification preferred Strong Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint As The Director, PMO, You Will:Be involved in Project Management: Support other PMO team leaders and the Executive team at HBC by providing oversight and reporting on initiatives in the busines Partner with finance and business units to define cost and benefit for projects, define a tracking process for the savings throughout the year, and reporting on progress Maintain pipeline of future project opportunities Escalate issues timely and find ways solve in alignment with stakeholders Provide regular progress status report to stakeholders and senior executives, which will involve creating meeting cadence and responsible for scheduling and facilitating meetings Capture follow-ups after key meetings and distribute; Maintain log of follow-ups and ensure closure and clear owners and accountability Collaborate with cross-functional and external partners to provide relevant and actionable project insights to the business units and ensure completion of project tasks Incorporate feedback from leadership and modify process from team members and cumulative experience on projects Keep moving the projects forward, identify obstacles and risks early on, and find solutions Define key linkages or dependencies that are needed to complete the project.
