This individual is responsible for overseeing project management activities for a portfolio of client projects. The Sr. Director partners closely with Account Services and other Subject Matter Expert (SME) team leaders throughout the organization to ensure the portfolio team is able to successfully deliver Intouch??s complete service offering. They are proficient in activating various resource groups, who perform distinct activities, to deliver integrated solutions in highly complex and regulated environments. This individual provides senior leadership, makes staffing recommendations, organizes and coordinates PM activities, manages a team of project management leaders, implements and enforces the project management strategy, is relied upon during project escalations, and reports on portfolio status. The Sr. Director is ultimately accountable to ensure the team successfully delivers on our client??s goals and objectives within the agreed parameters (scope, timeline, budget). Responsibilities: Partners with the Account Service portfolio lead to ensure project teams are appropriately organized and set up for success to delivery Intouch??s complete service offering Determines the most efficient way to deliver Intouch solutions while conforming to project management standards, best practices and guidelines, as well as Intouch policy and standards Leads the team through forecasting exercise to ensure clear project forecasting and resource utilization across the assigned portfolio Reports on portfolio performance and productivity and facilitates courses of action for organizational efficiency Thinks strategically and defines tactical plan to execute against strategy Assists in coaching project management leaders by guiding them through decision making, problem solving and project goal setting Assists the team in identifying new business opportunities and developing strategy and RFPs Serve as escalation path, removes roadblocks and broadens solution space for problem solving exercise Actively reviews and explores solutions for identified struggles with process adherence both within and outside of project management department Organizes the overall team to set up project managers for success, provides timely performance feedback to associates within the reporting structure, coaches and mentors staff, and takes appropriate corrective action when required Responsible for identifying training needs for the Project Management team Serves as a role model for the organization and represents Intouch's core values when collaborating internally, with clients or with partner agencies Support new business efforts as required Education and Work Experience: A Bachelor??s degree from an accredited university is preferred; Graduate degree is a plus 10-12 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 5 years of previous functional management experience or large scale program management Qualifications: Relevant agency and/or client-side experience in managing large-scale marketing and digital marketing programs and teams Knowledge of project management methodologies, including cost, time, scope, risk, communications and project management integration Strong ??people?? skills for working with a wide range of clients Proficiency with MS Office products Understanding of the software development life cycle and IT and PM best practices, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
