Transition Management function: J.P. Morgan is a global leader in Markets, which is comprised of a multitude of products, including Commodities, Credit, Macro, Rates, Equities, Research and Execution. The Transition Management team is responsible for translating a sales mandate into an operational account by coordinating across Sales and Trading, Credit, Risk, Legal, Middle Office and KYC. The aim is to deliver a seamless and timely multi-asset class on-boarding for our clients, spanning multiple products. In addition, the team is responsible for problem-solving, maintaining controls and working with partner functions to streamline processes. The Role: The Vice President will be part of a global team focused on building out the Transition Management function in Markets for Corporate clients. The successful candidate will play a vital and integral role in building out the Transition Management function within the business; formulating and spearheading strategic initiatives to optimize efficiencies. In addition to the responsibilities below, the Vice President will serve as project leader, engage with clients, work with internal partners to analyze processes and gain efficiencies. Understanding the nuances of operational flows and trade processes, as well as industry fundamentals is essential. Responsibilities: Client focus: Ensure that client requirements and sales mandates are delivered with a sense of urgency. Act as single point of contact for clients across asset classes while facing-off internally across internal support groups and business partners. Liaise with third-parties involved such as client vendors and other authorized interests. Project management: End-to-end project management accountable to client and business owners. Accountable for ensuring delivery of fully operational account to client in a timely manner. Ability to problem-solve for bespoke requirements. Manage pipelines and coordinate across partner teams globally. Internal Partner Coordination: Build strong relationships with internal partners, including Sales, Trading, Credit, Risk, Legal, WCOB, Ops and Technology teams in order to facilitate client timelines and continue to improve processes. Serve as initial point of escalation for internal support teams. Qualifications: The successful candidate should possess the following: Markets work experience, preferably in client facing role Markets product knowledge, preferably derivatives and FX/commodity spot products Very strong client management skills Strong problem solving ability: can listen to client requirements, prescribe path forward, anticipate potential issues and seek to mitigate/escalate potential issues as appropriate Sense of ownership and accountability to client and business leadership Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong understanding of industry landscape and breadth of product offering Understanding of Corporate legal structures, and products, as well as familiarity legal documentation associated with the same Excellent project management and organizational skills. Ability to focus and mobilize partners to help attain end goal Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work within tight and changeable timeframes Confident, driven, self-starter with an ability to work independently Inquisitive, tenacious and investigative; able to follow through on all aspects of complicated workflows Not ready to apply?
