RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client in search of a Senior Quality Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) for a company in the Semiconductor industry. Job Responsibilities Support and maintain the company's technologies global quality management systems Administer Corporate Documentation Management system Corrective Action system Design, Development, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Change Management Material review board Internal and external auditing program Developdeploymaintain Quality systems intranet and internet portals Ensure alignment and compliance to pertinent industry and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, 14001, RoHSsREACH, etc.) Periodic reporting of key quality metrics Work closely with design, development and manufacturing for end to end quality Close engagement with manufacturing and test functions regarding process controls, calibration, tool capabilities, etc. Participate in supplier initial and continuing audits Support and follow up on customer audits Lead and coordinate internal and external corrective action activities Publish quality specific metrics and reports Support and lead continual improvement activities, including training, through corporate body Approximate 15-20 travel REQUIREMENTS BS or MS in an Engineering field, Physical Sciences andor StatisticsMathematics or equivalent 8-10+ years in highly regulated industries, with notable percentage in quality engineering Experience out of highly regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace andor semiconductor will be considered Direct and broad experience with Fabrication andor assembly of semiconductorselectronic components or other types of electronic components Manufacturing Process Control Data analytics including applied statistics Critical analysis and Auditing Quality systems (DMS, FMEA, CAPA, MRB, PCRB, etc.) Corrective action (8D) investigation (Problem solving and root cause analysis) Working closely with customers and suppliers Leading and participating in projects Driving improvement initiatives Strategic and process approach thinkingmindset Working with and leading cross functional teams Reports, records and procedural management experience Exceptional communication skills and able to function in multicultural and team-oriented culture Plusses, but not required Understanding of analog, digital andor Mixed Signal devices is preferred Experience out of the semiconductor industry is a plus Industry, regulatory and military standards (ISO, IATF, Medical, Aerospace, Mil, etc.) Teaching statistical methods Engaging with customers and suppliers Hands on physical and electrical constructive analysis experience FA and product analysis Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
